Anthony J. D’Ambrosi

Chief Executive Officer

Anthony J. D’Ambrosi is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board for Abacus, with over thirty years of diverse business leadership and investment expertise across global Information Technology, Managed Services, Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity. D’Ambrosi leads the company’s mission, vision, and strategy of growth and value creation for its clients, employees, partners and stakeholders.

Prior to joining Abacus, D’Ambrosi served as CEO of ATSG leading the company’s growth and acquisition strategies to become a renowned global managed services provider, garnering multiple placement and accolades within the prestigious Gartner Magic Quadrants, along with other recognized industry placements. His executive leadership experience broadly spans global enterprises, as well as domestic middle-market ventures. D’Ambrosi has held senior executive positions at Bell Techlogix, CIBER, and Deutsche Telekom T-Systems. He spent the initial years of his career at Hewlett Packard and Reuters.

D’Ambrosi holds dual Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Hofstra University and has engaged on the Customer Advisory Boards for multiple tech giants, including TD SYNNEX, Cisco Systems, Fujitsu and Cloud Software Group (Citrix). He also currently serves as the chairperson for the TD SYNNEX PartnerLINK Customer Advisory Board.

Jonathan Bohrer

President

Jonathan Bohrer is the President of Abacus, originally serving as Chief Financial Officer when joining the firm in 2014. In his role as President, Bohrer oversees Abacus’ go‑to‑market strategy, including sales, marketing, client experience, and strategic partnerships, across both the financial services and healthcare divisions. He also leads the company’s mergers and acquisitions function and has oversight responsibility for the expansion and growth of the EMEA region.

Prior to joining Abacus, Bohrer served as Managing Director of Finance at ConvergEx Group, where he was responsible for financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and new product development. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of management roles in operations and finance at General Electric and American Express.

Bohrer holds a BS in Operations Management from Syracuse University and an MBA from Penn State University.

Elizabeth Kubycheck

Chief People and Administrative Officer

Elizabeth Kubycheck serves as the Chief People Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at Abacus, where she leads the company’s global people programs aligning people, culture and operational efficiencies with business strategy. As a key advisor to the CEO, Kubycheck collaborates across the Executive Leadership Team to drive strategic initiatives for accelerated growth and success ensuring the employee experience is a crucial driver for the organization.

With decades of experience in Human Resources, global branding, industry relations, and communications, Kubycheck brings a wealth of expertise to Abacus. Prior to joining the company, she held the role of Chief People and Brand Officer at ATSG and held senior executive positions at Bell Techlogix, Ciber, and T-Systems International.

Kubycheck earned a BA in Marketing from Elmhurst University and an MBA from Lewis University.

Jesse Sanders

Chief Financial Officer

Jesse Sanders is the Chief Financial Officer at Abacus and is responsible for the company’s global financial operations.

Sanders is an experienced finance and strategy leader with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams, working with private equity sponsors, advising boards, supporting organic growth, and executing M&A transactions. He has nearly a decade of experience as a technology CFO and previously was a private equity and private credit investor. Additionally, he served as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company.

Sanders holds a BA from Indiana University, and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Scott Mayers

Chief Delivery Officer

Scott Mayers is the Chief Delivery Officer at Abacus, where he is responsible for overseeing global service delivery and operational execution across the firm’s and technology and cybersecurity offerings.

With deep expertise in managed services and enterprise IT operations, Mayers brings a disciplined, scalable approach to delivery, focused on reliability, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes. He is known for building and leading high-performing teams, strengthening operational maturity, and translating complex technology environments into seamless client experiences. Prior to joining Abacus, Mayers was Chief Delivery Officer at ATSG/Xtium and held roles at Align and Credit Suisse.

Mayers earned a BS in Computer Science from the University at Albany – SUNY.

Paul Ponzeka

Chief Technology Officer

Paul Ponzeka serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Abacus, where he leads the technological advancements to drive business innovation. Ponzeka ensures the technology stack is aligned with corporate business goals with a sharp focus on AI advancement, R&D, systems engineering, disaster recovery, and networking.

Before joining Abacus in 2012, Ponzeka was head of engineering for Davidson Kempner Capital Management. Prior to Davidson Kempner, he was a senior engineer at ECI, responsible for high-level VMWare and SAN implementations, as well as serving as the company’s senior messaging expert.

Ponzeka earned a BS in Operations Management at the University of Scranton and is CISSP-certified.

Steve Losefsky

Chief Solutions Officer

As Chief Solutions Officer of Abacus, Steven Losefsky is responsible for being the driving force behind the solutions that enable the company’s overall strategic direction and operational success.

Losefsky is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with 20+ years of experience in management, technology, technology services, consulting, and strategic planning. Before joining Abacus, Steven was the Founder and CEO of Information Strategy Design and previously served as the VP of Operations for a national real estate investment and property management firm.

Losefsky obtained his Bachelor of Music with a concentration in Studio Engineering from Susquehanna University and an MBA in Economics from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Jonathan Shapiro

Chief Revenue Officer, Financial

Jonathan Shapiro is the Chief Revenue Officer of the Financial business unit at Abacus, focusing on driving new client revenue growth and reaching global clients across emerging markets within the financial services space.

Shapiro is a globally recognized sales leader in the financial services space with over 20 years of strategic leadership experience across the asset management, mutual funds, banking, and software sectors. Prior to joining Abacus, his roles included Head of North America Alternative Sales at Broadridge Financial Solutions and Head of Sales at SS&C Technologies.

Shapiro holds a BA from the University at Albany – SUNY.

Steven Bass

Chief Revenue Officer, Healthcare

Steven Bass serves as the Chief Revenue Officer of the Healthcare business unit at Abacus, focusing on driving revenue and expanding new client growth across specialty care and community health.

An accomplished executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience leading, growing, and transforming IT service organizations, Bass was a key part of the successful growth of four companies resulting in two mergers and two acquisitions. He founded a digital marketing and web application development company and participated in the growth of two other companies from hundreds of millions to more than $1 billion+ in revenue. Bass went on to lead sales, marketing, and client management for multiple MSPs, a leading health care service provider, a healthcare digital agency, and a global systems integrator.

Bass holds a BS in Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University.

Tom Cole

Sr. Managing Director, EMEA

Tom Cole, Senior Managing Director, EMEA at Abacus, oversees the EMEA region from London headquarters. Cole provides the strategic vision and executive governance for Abacus across the European and Middle Eastern markets.

Prior to Abacus, Cole was the Chief Technology Officer for COMAC Capital (Europe) Ltd (“CCEL”), a multibillion global macro hedge fund. As CTO, he led COMAC’s technology strategy, cybersecurity practices, and group business continuity planning. Prior to that, he held various technologist roles within Balyasny Asset Management, Glencore, and Publicis Groupe.

Cole was awarded distinction for MSc studies from the University of Liverpool.

Mike Herman

Sr. Managing Director, Client Experience

Mike Herman is a Founding Member of Abacus and serves as the Senior Managing Director of Client Experience across both the financial services and healthcare divisions. In his current role, Herman oversees all aspects of client experience including overall strategy, account management, and communication.

Previously, Herman served as Managing Director of Client Support and Director of Onsite Client Support & Project Management at Abacus. Prior to Abacus, Herman worked at Bank of America and BNP Paribas, where he oversaw Client Technical Services for over fifty hedge funds.

Herman holds a BS in Telecommunications from the University of Florida.

Pam Diaz

Managing Director, Global Partnerships

Pam Diaz serves as the Managing Director of Global Partnerships at Abacus where she leads the firm’s strategic partnerships across vertical and technology ecosystems. She spearheaded the launch of the firm’s Incident Response practice in 2020 and continues to focus on expanding Abacus’ partner network in the space.

Diaz brings decades of experience leading organizations across financial services, IT, and cybersecurity, with a deep understanding of the operational and risk realities faced by complex, highly regulated environments. In 2025, Diaz led the successful sale of Entara, where she served as President and CEO. She also previously served as the Senior Vice President – Director of Global Operations and Interim CIO at Ariel Investments and Executive Director – Global Operations Business Manager at UBS Global Asset Management.

Diaz is a member of the International Women’s Forum. Additionally, she is on the MSP Advisory Board for Channel Futures as well as the Board of Directors of Bounce Children’s Foundation. She holds a BS in Enterprise Management and a BAA in Business Administration and Management from Northern Illinois University.
